Windows XP Driver for the Windows Vista Operating System
The Windows XP driver can be used in the Windows Vista operating environment for the following printers. Please click on your printer model to see any special notes.
magicolor 2300 DL, magicolor 2300W, magicolor 2430 DL, PagePro 1200W/1250W, PagePro 1300W/1350W:
1. USB and/or Parallel installs should be performed using the Found New Hardware Wizard.
2. When the driver installs, the port defaults to FILE. You will want to manually change the port to USB, Parallel or TCP/IP (as applicable).
3. While the Status Monitor is not supported for use in Windows Vista, it can be installed by running the Setup.exe file in the driver set after the initial install above. You can delete the second copy of the driver that is created in the Printers control panel.
